If you still have your original LTCi policy: scan it, save it, share it.

We are seeing more instances of carriers sending out “duplicate” long-term care insurance policies that are not identical to the original policy issued decades ago. If you have your original policy, scan it, save it, and send it to loved ones so that everyone knows about it. You do not want to rely on your carrier to provide you with a “duplicate” of your original. Same goes for original marketing materials and enrollment materials - scan them and share them with loved ones. You never know when you may need an original brochure or illustration to back up a policy coverage dispute.
